Dear Church Family,
We all have what some have called a distinct “pull” on other people. Our pull is what other people sense when they are around us. It is the overall feeling others have when they have been in our presence. The apostle Paul refers to it as a “ fragrance” and an “aroma” that we emit when we are around others, 2 Corinthians 2:2-14-16. This text also says that we are an “aroma to God.” The way that we serve effects that aroma to God and others.
This Sunday morning we will be looking at Ephesians 3:8-12. The message title is “ Qualities of an Effective Servant: Part III.” Other verse that will prepare you for our time in God’s Word are 2 Corinthians 2:14-16, I Corinthians 10:31, and Psalm 141:1-2. I am looking forward to completing this mini- series on serving God in the book of Ephesians.
