Dear Church Family,
How we respond to people and circumstances in life can be the greatest opportunity for influence that we have. This includes the influence of a mother. We generally think that a mother has her greatest influence by the comfort, wisdom, and service that she dispenses. Those qualities are very influential in the lives of those she loves, but her responses to the things of life are crucial as well.
This Sunday morning we will celebrate Mother’s Day with a gift for our mothers and care givers and a special Mother’s Day message, “ The Responses of a Marvelous Mother.” Our missionary to the Philippines, Sandy Eckelberry, will also be with us. Our text for the message is Luke 2:28-35. Other verses that will prepare you for the message are Philippines 1:20-23, Proverbs 16:18, and Ecclesiastes 3:1-4. I am looking forward to honoring our mothers and care givers on Sunday morning.
We will be washing the cars of mothers in the church and community this Saturday morning from 10 to 1.. Pray that we will show the kindness of Christ and have some good conversations about the Lord as well. Until Sunday, God bless you and have a wonderful day!
