Dear Church Family,
We fall in love with singers, sports teams, political figures, causes, money, and people. The human heart was created by God to worship. It is impossible for us to not love and adore something or someone. In fact, Jesus said, “ No one can serve 2 masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money, “ Matthew 6:24. There will always be a first love in our heart. Hopefully that first love is almost always the Lord!
This Sunday we will be looking at Revelation 4:8-11. The sermon title is “ A Glimpse of Heaven: Part II.” Other verses that will help to prepare you for the message are Matthew 14:30-33, Genesis 24:48-52, and Psalm 95:3-7. Worship is an area of the Christian life that we can always be motivated to do more frequently and better.
